The University of Salford moves into the consultation stage.

Delighted to see this project move into the consultation stage ahead of imminent planning submission.

The University is building a new 60,000 sq ft clinic on the Frederick Road campus, designed by AHR Architects. This is part of their £2.5bn Crescent Masterplan to create a world-class hub for healthcare education and research.

The all-electric building will provide dedicated teaching and practice areas for podiatry, prosthetics and orthotics, sports rehabilitation, physiotherapy and gait analysis. It will also feature accessible terraces and a roof space, aiming to be a zero-carbon building.

This project goes beyond education. The clinic will offer health and wellbeing services to the community, helping to reduce waiting lists and improve access to care.

We are excited to be part of a team working to deliver this innovative and sustainable building. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
