Phase three of Sheffield’s iconic Park Hill Estate redevelopment is well underway. This will realise the designs of Whittam Cox Architects.

Constructed between 1957 and 1961, the council housing estate was built on a grand scale. It covers 17 acres with 1,000 flats. In 1998 it gained Grade II* listed building status and remains Europe’s largest listed structure.

A major programme of regeneration is ongoing. The Alumno Phase Three programme will see another block transformed. Béton House will be stylish student accommodation.

OOBE’s masterplanning expertise is blending the site’s heritage with tenant-led landscape proposals. This will provide a range of areas for outdoor socialising, dining and study.
