Alison completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology at the University College London before studying Landscape Architecture MLA at the University of Edinburgh. She graduated with honours in 2011, and worked for re-form landscape architecture in Leeds, before moving back to Scotland in 2020. She worked at HTA in Edinburgh before joining OOBE in 2023.
Alison has worked on a wide range of projects across the UK, including civic squares, parks, health, and retail developments, and large- and small-scale residential schemes. She also has experience of LVIA and strategic level landscape assessment. She is particularly interested in the social and cultural impact of landscape architecture, and the benefits landscape can contribute to society’s health and wellbeing.
Away from work, Alison enjoys reading, cycling, and swimming outdoors.
