Bettina Lukacs

Senior Landscape Architect

Bettina joined OOBE in October 2021 and is a Senior Landscape Architect in the Newcastle office.

She graduated as a Landscape Architect in 2007 at Corvinus University of Budapest. During her professional years in Hungary, she worked at prestigious offices and gained experience in design, construction and heritage conservation. From 2017 she continued her professional growth in London at a large landscape practice with a wide range of UK and international projects and was promoted to Senior Landscape Architect in 2020.

Bettina’s experience covers a variety of skills in the design and development of small, medium, and large-scale projects from sketch concept design proposals to completion and handover. Her project experience covers mixed use, commercial, residential, public realm projects and large-scale masterplans within the UK, Ireland, and Middle East.

She’s passionate about the design development process, exploring different options and finding the best possible answer to any challenge a project can face.¬†She has a keen eye for details and the overall narrative, creating a strong sense of place while meeting the expectations of clients, stakeholders and future users.

When not in the office she likes to take her camera out for a stroll, climbing up hills, exploring cities or going for a good old road trip. Besides photography she has a passion for architecture, arts, the outdoors and she also likes a good joke.
