Bori joined the OOBE Newcastle office in May 2023.
Bori completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Landscape Architecture in Budapest, taking the opportunity to study for six months in the Netherlands as an exchange student. She undertook courses in large-scale design, water management and climate-adaptive Landscape Architecture. Following her graduation, she worked for two and a half years as a Landscape Architect on a wide range of projects including private gardens, office courtyards, urban public parks, university campuses and landscape designs for sports venues.
Bori has a special interest in historical gardens. Her thesis project was on landscape design for historical gardens, based on heritage conservation principles adapted to today’s conditions and needs. She is passionate about sustainable urban planning, reflecting the long-term effects of climate change in her designs.
She enjoys spending her free time outdoors, cycling and hiking. Whenever she can, she likes to travel the world, discovering new countries and cultures.
